Wish You Were Here
This song is a melodious one...quite sentimental again and I'm not necessarily feeling blue;)...just linking it for records. again the credit goes to atuo, surprisingly though I really loved Ritchie Blackmore, I'd never heard it before 2003. I had been away from Nagaland for so long and i did miss out the music scene...still I'm struggling to catch up. We have Saturday set aside for recordings and jamming. Hopefully if everything is fine, we should have our brand of music by next year, maybe include paulie's too.

Somewhere over the Rainbow
This is a song by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole(sad he passed away in 1997). This song is a interesting blend of Judy Garland's Somewhere over the Rainbow
and Louis Armstrong's What a wonderful world. Atuo introduced this version to me and I was touched by the raw energy of the number. The first time i heard 'somewhere over the rainbow' was around 1988-89...it was an instrumental piece from guitar legend -Chris Impelliterri. Then years later after the self imposed embargo on soft music was lifted, i heard Judy Garland's version which was a bit sentimental compared to this rendition. anyway, I hope you'll like this as much as I do

Oleander
Sometimes Life is like a soulful ballad, we sing wishes against the inevitable events that divides the past and the present...hoping that songs can paint the future in a way we want it to be...these longings are, in a way, reasons Life becomes more meaningful and eternal..A story that is told but never concludes..so many mysteries, so many continuation. I dedicate this song to anyone who would find it meaningful
Lucky
One good and Fresh song I listened to and liked lately. Do buy the album. It's Jason Mraz.

Oh My Love
This song by John Lennon has very simple Lyrics but has a very passionate feel to it. I first heard it in Shillong in '92, I think My friend Lucas had the tape and for a long time I was searching for the song..I couldn't remember the Lyrics or the name but the tune was stuck in my head...Finally here it is for you to hear and hopefully enjoy.
Carrickfergus
This is sung by Declan again and it has a haunting melody. I guess Charlotte Church made it more popular.
